Tuesday, December 4

Today, I searched the web for uses of Lactobacillus Bulgaria. There were a lot of sources that listed uses for it, most of which claimed that it is used for making yogurt.  A few more elaborate sources claimed that eating yogurt, because of the colonies, could rid you of bad breath, and make your body healthier.  I pasted these to a word document to keep them handy. Later, I searched for pictures for our webpage. I came up with two slides of the bacteria itself, and two of some cups of yogurt, for the imagery value. I also came up with a professor’s experiment sheet, but I wasn’t sure at the moment if or how I should use it in the project. I am still considering what to do with it, since it has informational value, but no value regarding to pictures, or interactivity.

Wednesday, Dec. 5

Today was a successful day in my searching endeavors. I had my dad show me some techniques in the form of Google searches. His methods effectively showed me how to search and find articles that actually led me to lots of diverse sources, versus Britannica or Net Trekker, which only put out 3 sources, which all told me the same idea. I ended leaving yesterday night, with 16 resources (most of which presented different information), many of which were essays and the like written by college professors. I found myself quite excited with my findings, which, after I can get them evaluated, will present themselves as valuable research resources.

Thursday, December 6

Due to time constraints, I did not get the chance to actually work on the project. This is due to the fact that my English Paper is due sooner than my Science project, and took priority. I didn’t really want to stay up until one o’clock working on something I could do tomorrow with more time, and less worry. I realize this may appear as me wasting time, but I believe that my choice was better for me in the long run.

Tomorrow, however, I plan to overhaul on the website, evaluating websites, adding information to pages, and the like. I believe that I can get more work done that I would be able to if I were attempting to rush it at an earlier date, hoping to get some sleep. This isn’t a worry on the weekend, as you probably realize.

Friday, December 7

Today, I evaluated three websites. I was also able to compile some of my information onto a word document, so I could later move it to the website.

I also found three pictures regarding to my bacteria. I am having a hard time finding any information regarding to reproduction, and it is begining to bother me.

I am frustrated that the school's resources are doing nothing in my favor.

Saturday, December 8

Today, I went to Austin's house. We got a lot of work done regarding to the evaulation of websites, and we began our planning for our video we plan to film thursday. I am excited about this, since we will have a good time doing that (I hope). Also, while there, I found a few more websites that helped me understand some of the nutritional values of our bacteria.

Sunday, December 9

I didnt really get anything done today, I was really burned out from my overkill working the day previous.

Monday, December 10

Today, I worked a lot on ordering the website into a clean system, linking all the pages and putting pictures where necessary. I didnt get much done aside from that, since I was crammed with all my other work, plus soccer practice. I found myself extremly frustrated since I wasnt just finding the information that was missing.

Tuesday, December 11

Again, being drowned out by a combination of work and soccer, I was unable to do anything regarding to the website. This frustrates me, because I know that this overkill of work will end up making it impossible for me to finish everything on time.

Wensday, Deember 12

Today, I looked up some extra information to finalize everything.

Thursday, December 13

Today, Austin came over to my house. We attempted to work on it, but that didnt work, due to problems with the camera. We did, however, work on latin. So, the evening wasnt a total waste. I was glad to get that off my chest. We plan to get the video done on saturday. 

Friday, December 14

Today, I got to see my girlfriend. It was the first time I was able to, since the work load as of late has been overkill. I had a nice dinner,  and got to eat some ice cream. Also, I shot a ton of people in my video games. It was a nice evening, a good stress reliever.

Saturday, Decmember 15

Today, I stayed up until four because my parter and I had both had unexpected delays. This inhibited us since our information had yet to be finalized. I luckily finished most of everything, and I was able to get some rest. These inhibtations made it impossible to make our video today, we plan to do it tomorrow.

Sunday, December 16

Today, we filmed the movie, and wrapped up all the information on our site.

We hope you enjoyed it, since it was pretty horrible for me.
